I have created a new medium to work in, one that has been inspired by landscape and uses materials produced from the land.
I have been able to combine my passion for textiles and painting.

Inspired initially by the north coast of Scotland, I have created a technique combining wool fibres and pearlescent painted fabrics which are layered together to create rich textures.

The work is either framed or made into hangings. The versatility of the technique has enabled me to create a range of jewellery and a handbag collection inspired by the sea.
