There is a place of outstanding natural beauty on the north coast of Scotland from Durness to the small community of Laid, an area so rich in minerals that the rocks glisten with a rainbow of colours.

A land rich in landscape from acid-coloured pools of Rotorua to the soft purples and turquoise of the southern lakes. I travelled through both islands sketching and photographing this incredible country.
